Dez Bryant Released

Post by S197 »

And he's hinting he's staying in the same division. Maybe Redskins?

I don't think he has a clue where he is going. This is like when AP started talking about who he would consider (Houston mentioned prominently) and soon figuring out that beggars can't be choosers. He'll go to the highest bidder, which may be some sad place like Cleveland or NYJ who have more cap space then they know what to do with. Only thing for certain, we sure don't want to see him in Purple.

I just watched his interview on NFL network. The guy is nuts. He asks, "why didn't they just tell me I was being cut?" Duh. He had a personal meeting with the team owner (and king of Texas) where Jerry informed him. What more could he expect? Has any other NFL player been shown the respect/courtesy of the actual team owner spending time to do this? I'm sure that the Cowboy's front office has spent months in discussions with his agents trying to negotiate a compromise. Apparently, that wasn't going to happen so Jerry did the right thing and scheduled a one on one meeting to inform him. How many of us in corporate America had the CEO take time to tell us we were being fired? I'm guessing.......none.

The guy comes off as an ignorant problem
child. He hasn't had a pro bowl season in
three years and caused a lot of drama with
QB's and other players. The whole Jason
Whitten/Romo ....

Actually if he went to Cleveland, they would be a scary offense.
I just hope he doesn't end up in GB.

That would be interesting. I can't see the NYG adding another problem child and the Eagles have very little cap space. That said, I think he'll go to whoever offers him the most money, and it just might be less than what he could have gotten in Dallas after a pay cut.

There's at least one report the Packers are interested. Rodgers throwing to Adams and Bryant is scary to think about.

It would help to clarify if it was Dez or Dak who was responsible for the drop in production in Dallas.

Let him go to Green Bay ...the guy is
an idiot who won't listen and has not
had pro bowl numbers in three years.

Not to mention Green Bay is outside
and when it counts turns into ball
control oriented game plan.

We have two maybe three guys that
can shut Dez down imo

My concern is his numbers declined because Dak is overrated and not necessarily all on him. I'd much rather see him on the Skins.

I believe that there is something to this. Dak didn't look that great last year, especially when Elliott was suspended and the O line was banged up.

Giants might be in the running now since they just cut Marshall.
