I know this comes up every year but I wouldn't mind if conferences with losing records lost sending a team and a stronger
winning team (wild card team) went in their place

That would essentially render divisions useless, you might as well re format to no divisions and just 2 conferences in that case, imo.

I do't have a problem with a division winner making the playoffs, but the seedings should be by record. A 12-4 team should not have to travel to an 8-8 team in the postseason.

But then what is the actual logistical sense of divisions? I like how it is, it makes divisions something more then symbolic, and adds an added incentive to win division games and titles.

Packer fans and many talking heads have already given the division title to the Packers. The Vikings apparently aren't going to win and more games this year. And if they do, it won't matter due to the fact that the only game the Packers have a chance of losing is the Cardinal game. :wallbang:

I'll laugh like hell if the Packers lose to the Bears and Lions.

Crazy how one game got people from down in the dumps to cloud nine on the Packers, I don't think either is justified.

I wonder how they would react if they lose to the Bears and the Vikings beat the Falcons. Being 1 game back again would not make them happy.

Honestly I'd still imagine the Packers would still be favored going forward, whether or not it would be deserved.

I still think that last game will determine who wins the division. It may determine the second seed.

I've been calling that all year long man, I would LOVE to see that, especially if it was for the second seed. That would be incredible.

The second seed will come down to how they both play the Cardinals.
