Thoughts about week 3...
Detroit lost a must win. Their next two games? Seattle on the road and Arizona. In all fairness to Detroit, I won't be a homer and act like the Vikings wouldn't likely lose those games and probably get blown out in at least one of them, but 0-5 is hanging over their heads. The Bears get off much lighter, but Oakland is 2-1 and they are not a joke team, not by a longshot. Then they have another road game in a place that is hellish for road teams, Chiefs at Arrowhead. In the last 160 games, the Chiefs are 106-54 at home, statistically the seventh best record at home right now. It's an ear-shattering madhouse.

Go Chiefs!!
Prediction: Eric Berry breaks Rodgers INT-less streak at home tonight.
But...Pack still win. Sigh.

I think we're all rooting for the Chiefs tonight!
I was repairing a motor in a Fisher-Price swing (buy a new one, guys) and missed the first quarter. Did I miss anything?

Re: Around the League - Week 3
The packers spent the first half basically demolishing the run. It was very intimidating. And of course Rodgers is still Rodgers. Another 5 or 6 years of this crap.

Sigh. No INT. Streak goes on. Packers are still a great team. Hate them.frosted wrote:Go Chiefs!!

Re: Around the League - Week 3
That last Chiefs score was a product of a clearly terrible spot by the refs on that 4th down conversion stop, that said it was still our fault, asw e had burned through all of our timeout at that point, leaving us unable to challenge the call. Got to manage that stuff better down the road, IMO.

Texans cut their kicker and pick up Nick Novak. Texans kicker has missed 2 xp's and 1 FG so far this year. He was a 2012 5th rd pick. I wonder how much leash Walsh has at this point.
