Cassel to Cowboys, Ponder fails to impress

Post by soflavike »

Poor Christian Ponder can't get anyone to bite. The Cowboys worked him out, along with Matt Flynn, McLeod Bethel Thompson and a Roast Beef sandwich, and ultimately decided to trade with the Bills for Matt Cassel, sending a 5th round pick in exchange for the veteran and a 7th round pick.

Cassel has had better experience and more success than Ponder and the others. I would take Cassel as well and start him right away over Weeden.

As well as La'El Collins at LG.

I always liked Cassel, and despise the 'boys, especially living down here in Dallas.
I hope he plays well, yet the 'boys find a way to keep losing. Go "anyone" but Dallas.

Ponder cant even keep a job in a town starving for a QB right now, yet he had so much support from some posters on this board. Some of the same posters that say Teddy is washed up. Insanely funny.

Hope Cassel fares well. And I hope we never have to talk or compare Cassell to Hill again.
