Doesn't sound too bad though.
Parker missed part of his senior season at Louisville after needing foot surgery. Per Rapoport, Friday's surgery was performed to replace the screw inserted last year. The decision to undergo surgery was a collaborative one between Parker, his agent Jimmy Gould, Parker's parents and the Dolphins.
Per the Miami Herald, the procedure was precautionary and if it were the regular season he'd be playing this week.

I wasn't against Parker but he wouldn't have been my first choice... I will be curious to see how he
does in Miami
post script NFL total access said he missed 7 games last year in college ... maybe why the Vikings
passed on him...
