LeGarrette Blount & Ben Tate waived

Post by PacificNorseWest »

They'll probably catch on with playoff hopefuls (i.e. the Colts), but it's crazy to the think how the value of running backs has changed over the years. Ben Tate was a top FA RB and now he gets cut in favor of two rookies. One of the undrafted.

Blount just has a bad attitude.

They are subject to waivers, so any team can put a claim in for either of them. Since waiver order is reverse of standings, the Raiders would have their pick of the two if they so desired.

Ah. Thanks for the clarification.

I'm not sure bad teams will put in a claim though.

You're probably right - it'd be interesting to see Tate with the Colts now that Bradshaw is done for the season.
