Mid Season Trade

Post by fiestavike »

Just wondering what you all think of the idea of a midseason trade. Harvin went for a 6th, Akeem Ayers goes to NE along with a 7th in return for a 6th...are there players that might be expendable on their own team that could have upside in a different system and might be available on the cheap?

Anyone have any fun ideas?

I am not sure but would be all for bringing in another QB, maybe that has played under Norv's system.
Do not mistake KINDNESS for WEAKNESS!

Jets were in desperation mode. Pats looking to compete come playoff time. It's more likely *we* have the players another team might like than any player on another team that might fit this system better. Other than injuries, and not sure a bottom 5 team is going to be patching the offensive line through trades.

They'd be better off moving a guy like Greenway, or Jennings to another team than anything else.

That's an interesting idea too.
