Post by Eli »

Thought this was interesting. Nine players have earned over $100 million in their careers.

1. Peyton Manning $207,020,668
2. Brett Favre $139,654,000
3. Tom Brady $134,126,000
4. Julius Peppers $113,218,000
5. Drew Brees $111,258,366
6. Ray Lewis $107,796,998
7. Donovan McNabb $106,774,067
8. Carson Palmer $106,095,000
9. Champ Bailey $103,332,535
10. Richard Seymour $99,621,000

Something tells me that even if we looked at inflation-adjusted dollars and went back to the beginning of the NFL, none of the players who retired in the last century would come close.

All of those guys have been in at least 1 superbowl, with exception of Carson Palmer. Seems to me someone paid Cadillac money for a Pontiac. Its a shame that some players can get that sort of money, for a life time of above average play at their position.
