Sabol changed the way the game is viewed on television. The NFL used to be the fourth most popular sport behind baseball, college football and boxing; NFL Films completely changed that. Well said. His contribution to the success of the NFL can't be overstated. I know I could do some more research on top of my preliminary search, but I feel lazy. Was Steve Sabol the guy that did the football blooper reels/specials too? I'm almost 100% sure of it. I have fond memories watching those growing up. Anybody else remember those?
