The captain goes down with the ship. sean payton should be fired. incentives to knock someone out or cripple them is sickening. its tackle football a game.

The worst part to me is taking money from outside sources.

Possible influence on the outcome of a game with outside money from a felon? Can't pay a team to throw a game? Pay their opponents to take out their best players.

Hysterical animation! But, seriously, that is an incisive commentary. I tend to agree with it.

mortreport: NFL says #Saints bounties were placed on at least 4 QBs - Brett Favre, Kurt Warner, Aaron Rodgers; Cam Newton
Appropriate punishment. Now if only the Vikings could acquire those second-round picks...

@The_Pita:by not losing a 1st, a season of turmoil could be rewarded with the #1 overall pick. Correct? Doesn't seem right

Awesome! Now the NFL just needs to go after the individual players! What i cant believe is the Saints knew they were being investigated but yet continued the bounty program. Not just continuing it but putting a bounty on Cam Newton making it obvious they did it this season!

Screw the Saints. Its a rough game but they went way overboard and they all got what the deserved imo. No reason to delibaratly hurt or mangke a fellow player for life.

GOOD. They should lose more picks, IMO. Actually, the VIkings and Cardinals should get the picks.

We should!

Actually, the loss of picks raises an interesting question. Does that mean there is just one less pick at the end of draft because of this now or will some other team get the last pick now? I cannot remember what happened back in 2008 after the Patriots lost their pick.

That would be my guess. I bet they just lose their place in the round. which of course means that everyone else moves up a spot.
