Re: Thursday Night Football = the worst?
Here are the games that have been so far without a bunch of extra.
Schedule is here per going through each week:
http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/schedules/ ... 012/week121 Cowboys over Giants
2. Packs over Bears
3. Giants whip Carolina Panthers... this looks like the only real blowout, okay, Chicago had trouble with Green Bay but lost by only 13 points.
4. Ravens over Browns
5. Rams over Cards
6. Titans over Steelers.
7. Niners over Seahawks.
Here are the rest of the years games, more or less:
8. Bucs/Vikings
9. Chiefs/Chargers
10. Colts/Jags
11. Dolphins/Bills
12. Thanksgiving, Fox, CBS and NBC carry the games in week 12:
http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/schedules/ ... 012/week1213. Saints/Falcons
14. Broncos/Raiders
15. Bengals/Philly
16. Falcons/Lions
17. No Thursday Night game.
So it looks like a lot of divisional rivalries which isn't bad and interestingly, the Bucs use to be a Central (North?) Division team if I have that right, I don't think it was all that long ago when they moved to the South Division.
The games look okay overall but maybe not exactly the dream matchups, I tend to think the Sunday Night games have been the premier matchups so far.
So, if I have this right, NFL network has 15 games meaning a chance to show 30 of the 32 teams. Right off, looks like the SB Champ Giants played in week 1 and 3 for some reason...but not sure if any other teams play more than once.
Right off the bat, I don't see New England Patriots playing a Thursday night game this year, don't know if they play in London this year either. That might be another factor to consider. If they play the overseas game.
