What to do with Finley

He's been a constant disappointment. Other options on the wire include: Greg Olsen, Celek, Owen Daniels and Scott Chandler. I'm considering dropping Finely for Olson or Chandler. Thoughts?

Carolina is playing against the Seahawks this week and then have a bye so I'd probably go with Chandler over Olsen if you were to make a move. Buffalo is playing a good 49ers D but we saw what a TE can do to them.

TE's vs. 49ers
Finley - 7 Rec. 47 Yards 1 TD
Pettigrew- 3 Rec. 18 Yards 1 TD
Rudolph- 5 Rec. 36 yards 2 TD
Cumberland (NYJ) -17 yards

Good point. Would you hold tight or make a move?

For some reason Chandler worries me. I picked him up earlier last year and he did what he's doing now but eventually cooled off and was pretty meh the rest of the year. He and Finley seem to get similar numbers yardage wise but Chandler is obviously getting to the end zone more.

If his current head injury isn't serious I'd probably take the gamble. If things don't pan out I think you still have some good options on the waiver to pick from.

The only reason I'd go for Olson is that this is PPR and Olson has more yards, receptions and targets than Chandler does. He also seems to be emerging as Newton's #2 receiver after Steve Smith. Chandler seems to be getting a lot of looks in the red zone but not a whole lot else.

Oops, I forgot you were playing PPR. In that case I agree with you on Olsen.

After thinking about it some more I think I'd probably hold tight for now and roll with Finley and hope for the best for two weeks unless you're willing to drop a bench player and carry two TEs. Maybe someone else can give you a second opinion but I think that's what I would do. It's definitely a tough call since every week in fantasy is so important.

Chandler is listed as questionable right now, haven't read the reports but might want to check into that. Also, why no consideration for Owen Daniels? He's had a solid start to the year.

I'm in a similar situation but also available is Heath Miller. Would you take him above the others?

Well, Olson and Daniels have been picked up because I hesitated. I'm stuck with Finley unless I want Chandler. I keep being hesitant thanks to all the rankings each week that consistently have Finley rated higher than any of those other guys. He's still getting targeted as much or more than the other guys that were out there, but he's just not very consistent and hasn't found the end zone much, which is killing me (that and my flex and Julio crapping the bed).
