Won my League this Year... Who Else did?

Post by HardcoreVikesFan »

From worst to first. Last year i was dead last and this year I won. I had great Halfbacks (Peterson, Addai, Jacobs) My Wide Receivers were good (Andre Johnson, Bowe, Branch, Curtis) My Quarterbacks sucked. I had to use FA QB's after week 3! The only QB that was on my team all season was Jon Kitna. Tony Gonzelz was my TE and of course had a great days. I had the Vikings defense which scored me a lot of points. Even my punter was good lol. Another fun year. Too bad it's over again.

My main league I came out victorious and had the highest point total despite not having Brady or Moss. It was nice to play the Brady owner during the storm though. :o

I won the VMB.com league for the 2nd year in a row.

(didn't hurt to have both LT and Tom Brady)

then again. I did have the No.1 over all pick.

that means that pics 2-12 passed on Brady TWICE on his way back to me.
So you can't really say that I took advantage of anything. Since you ALL decided taking a QB with the most explosive offensive weapons wasn't worth a 1st or 2nd round pick.
What do you think of my Defense Now?!??! BWRAAARRRGGGG!!

Yup, I passed on him twice, but Brady has traditionally not thrown a lot of td passes and his fantasy numbers tend to be good but not great. Also, he plays outdoors and that's not a good place to play come playoff time. But, it turned out to be a profound pick! Great job.

I went with Brees because he throws a lot of tds and he plays in a dome. Unfortunately, he tanked come playoff time and he never did play very well at home.... Oh well, there is alway next year!

who was in first place through most of the season?

ME.

But I fell for the Chargers pretty hard. I kept listening to Paul Charchian saying that Rivers is going to be the same if not better then the previous year... whoops.

I got screwed there.

I actually would have won but we were playing in a league with IDP's and I had Sean Taylor. After his tragic death I decided that I would continue to start him kind of to pay tribute I guess. Well I lost by five andmy back up safety scored 9 points.

I relied to much on Willie Parker, and I learned to never draft him again.

Swaps and Cliff

It's a whole new season, watch your backs!

BTW, one of you forgot to hand my rear-end back to me after tearing me a new one.

The prostetic buttocks is doing quite nicely, thank you!
