Adrian Peterson, Min, RB YEAR RUSH YDS AVG TD REC YDS TD PTS
2007 Statistics 238 1341 5.6 12 19 268 1 222
2008 Projections 305 1619 5.3 14 28 395 2 296
2008 Outlook: Adrian Peterson's talent is ridiculous. He's the embodiment of a breakaway threat: with a very accomplished run-blocking offensive line in front him, he's an ankle-breaker in the open field, and he's no fun to tackle. The questions regarding whether he should be the first player taken in fantasy drafts center around his durability and inconsistency. After durability concerns caused him to drop in the NFL draft, "All Day" Peterson tore the LCL in his right knee and averaged only 2.7 yards per carry in the season's final four weeks. Still, he's the game-breaker who makes fantasy championships, and just think about this: AD started only nine games and played in 14, and he still finished second in the NFL in rush yards. His upside is higher than any player in fantasy.
