Well, I guarantee you that I am not drafting anyone who plays at those positions!Mothman wrote: I'm not so sure about that...

Picking up a late round guard or safety, that make the team, and Rick will look pretty good. Wouldnt surprise me to see a QB either.

Coates just taken. Still could have been Rick's plan...

I think you want a guy who'll start in a year or so in the third round. I'd like a developmental QB late, but not now.PurpleKoolaid wrote:Picking up a late round guard or safety, that make the team, and Rick will look pretty good. Wouldnt surprise me to see a QB either.

Stupid #### ESPN. I missed the pick because of slated local commercials. I couldn't even see the ESPN selection/tracker.

Vikes take an athletic project in R3. I guess Yankey got really strong during the strength and conditioning program last year. So far, the Vikes don't appear too concerned about keeping Bridgewater upright and improving their 27th-tanked offense.
We'll see what tomorrow brings...

Okay so this guy wasn't on my radar at all but I like this pick, like a raw everson griffen, says he needs the right coaching to excel at the next level. Well, he's in good hands with Zimmer.
This is the kind of pick I'd be really skeptical of with Childress or Frazier as coach but with Zimmer it seems like a real value pick, talent / physical ability wise.

Jim, if Hunter was the best player on their board, wouldn't you agree it was a good pick? Gotta stay true to the board.

I like this pick; actually I like all our picks so far! And as a bonus, we got to see Slick Rick working his magic to accumulate us more picks in the process!
This is my only concern, thought we would have made moves to improve our O-line by now.Mothman wrote:So far, the Vikes don't appear too concerned about keeping Bridgewater upright and improving their 27th-tanked offense.
