Training for Sundays

Post by Mothman »

I was looking for info about Derek Carr's pro day and I stumbled across this video at SI's site:

http://nfl.si.com/2014/03/19/derek-carr-2014-nfl-draft/

Apparently, it's one of a series they've produced on players preparing for the 2014 draft. Here's a link to the others in the series:

I like his attitude. I also liked what coaches said about him during the Senior Bowl. Great work ethic.

He throws a darn good ball, too.

The talk about how much he loves the game, how players like to play with him, his leadership, etc. all bodes well for him at the next level. I've read more than once that his intangibles are basically off the charts. You never know how any of that stuff will actually translate to the NFL but I can understand why interest in him is reportedly growing.
