Lots of posters here are in love w/ Jean-Baptiste, as are fans of many teams--copycat league & everyone wants the next Richard Sherman. But,
For all the hype about Stanley Jean-Baptiste, finding that he was beat on 48.7% of all his targets is pretty disappointing. If you’re looking for positives, you could note that he wasn’t targeted particularly often which could be indicative of QBs only looking to him when the WR had good separation.
I have watched Verrett play a fair amount and I was impressed with his talents. He's awfully small, but he definitely stands out when you watch him play. He breaks up passes, tackles very well, and seems to be on the ball all the time. I did see him get beat deep more often than I would want for a 1st round prospect, but he reminds me a lot of Antoine Winfield.

If this team wants a big corner, they would be wise to look at Keith McGill from Utah. He is 6-3 (really 6-2 I assume) and 210 pounds.

After seeing a taller CB like Cook try and cover, or even tackle, Jean-Baptiste's size doesn't bother me in the least. Unless our DBs get special treatment from the Refs like Seattle, 49ers, GB, etc get, we cant have our guys getting too physical anyways. Rhodes got better the less physical he got.
