LSU kicks Tyrann Mathieu off team

BATON ROUGE, La. -- LSU dismissed 2011 Heisman Trophy finalist Tyrann Mathieu from its football program Friday for violating school and team rules.
"We extended ourselves personally and professionally to him," LSU coach Les Miles said at a news conference Friday. "He has really improved and has a chance to take some steps as a person."

Now THAT'S a shocking development. That will destroy his chances of being drafted high.
All the talent in the world and these young kids just piss it away.

He will be first round pick at the very least. I agree about kids pissing their talent away. People would kill to have the talent Honey Badger has has. Such a shame...

i thought the same thing. i know what he meant though. this will hurt his stock to a point but he'll still be a first rounder. just too much upside.

I keep hearing he failed 2 or 3 drug tests. Don't know if it was in the last year, overall, or what. And it's never been confirmed anywhere I can find, just seems like what's being reported.
