Pathetic showing. Cousins was horrible, receivers aside from Thielen not good, Irv Smith with drops and penalties and then the illegal contacts on D...clearly a coaching issue. This is going to be a bad season.

Zimmer misses the playoffs every other year so it looks like that will continue

Jacksonville might make some hay with that 2nd rounder they got for the DE. Looking like it'll be a top 35 pick.

If Jimmy G is hurt maybe we can trade cousins and a 3rd to them to get out from under his contract.

Yes. It will ensure we get Lawrence.
Only if Vikings have #1 draft pick but if not then Vikings will have to trade up or hope that other team will not draft Lawrence before Vikings selection

It's not just Cousins. It may be a good year to fire sale off older pieces likely to be cut after this year too. Harrison, Rudy, reiff...if other teams have injuries and will give up assets, it's time to say so long. Assets and cap relief from big contracts would be a huge help to the longterm health of the franchise.

The contracts of Rudolph and Barr are again, highly in question. I didn't like either, but Rudy seemed revitalized last season, at least. The multi-year deal though....

And Michael Pierce opting out really hurt. Helpless against the run and no Dline push. There was 1 play with a Gak sighting.
