Tarvaris Jackson passes away at 36

Post by Pondering Her Percy »

Pretty sad news. Jackson was killed in a car crash last night. He was only 36 years old

Absolutely saddened to hear that. Never was a huge fan but he was always going to be a Viking for life.

Tragically devastating news this morning.

He had a quite good season for us the year before we brought Favre in which was part of why I was so against bringing Favre in.
Liked him on my Vikings. He was fun to watch. This is very sad.

So after Favre having a great year, you are still against it?

Favre surprised the heck out of me playing very well that year. However, he sucked the year after. We will never know how well T Jack may have played for us. In hindsight was it worth signing Favre to get the one great year? I don't know.

I thought it was worth it, it was a great season getting to the NFC Championship game, too bad Favre showed he is past his prime the year after

At the time I felt Childress did Tarvaris and Sage dirty given the cruddy season Favre had just had with the Jets.

I was happy to see TJax come to Seattle to start again. I'll always respect him for being a great team guy and tough as hell. Played a majority of the season with a torn pec on his throwing side when starting for Seattle. I won't forget him.

Edit: I don't think it was the camaro he had when he was in Seattle i was alluding to...it was
