Hope the price is right. Good to plug in a 2 down DT before the draft.

3 years 27 million I think.
That fills Joseph's spot.

Great signing. Pierce is an elite run stuffing DT.
3 year $27 million.

I can not complain about this move, that is a good signing, looks like Vikings will not be drafting a defensive tackle in the draft

Could still use a three tech, but the Vikings have been doing well getting D-Line in the mid rounds and undrafted.RandyMoss84 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 18, 2020 6:24 pm I can not complain about this move, that is a good signing, looks like Vikings will not be drafting a defensive tackle in the draft

I like it.
NT is a position that takes 1 to 2 years to develop out of college, and we needed a guy now.

Fat Pat 2.0. Could be equally as productive or a problem if he lets himself go. He's a BIG boy.

Re: Vikings Signing Michael Pierce
This is a great point. According to ESPN and other sources, Pierce reported to minicamp in June last year at 390 pounds and was sent off the field by John Harbaugh. He lost 30 pounds by the start of training camp, but 390 is a scary weight.
If he can control the poundage, he will be an awesome signing for the Vikings. We struggled against the run last year.
Go ahead. I dare you.
Underestimate this man.

A little scary considering how reduced the off-season might be. Might not even find out he is 390 until preseason starts!J. Kapp 11 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 18, 2020 7:39 pmThis is a great point. Honestly not arguing, just curious who you are referring to? If you're including DE (Griffen in the 4th and Hunter in the 3rd) then I 100000% agree with you.
But not sure on DT. Johnson, Holmes, and Watts have shown a bit of promise, but I don't think any of them are proven at this point whatsoever. Linval was a great FA signing, but we haven't had a great 3-Tech since KWill. I think 1st round pick Floyd could have been if not for the devastating injury.

Agreed Floyd was shaping up to be a very good pick but what happened was unfortunateVikingPaul73 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 18, 2020 7:55 pmWe have?fiestavike wrote: ↑Wed Mar 18, 2020 6:26 pm
