I was going to post the exact same thing. No sense in messing around. Carlson isnt ready now. I wonder if he goes on the PS? Not many would pick him up. Maybe the Browns, they like to self destruct.Pondering Her Percy wrote: ↑Mon Sep 17, 2018 1:34 pm One thing I am happy about is that it took FOREVER for Spielman and Zim to part ways with Walsh. And in turn, Walsh kept costing us games. I'm glad they nipped it in the bud right now. Welcome Dan Bailey!

Exactly, this is our year so we simply cannot afford to stick with Carlson.

Zimmer went straight for the jugular with concerns to Carlson.
"Did you see the game?"
He also said the decision was, "pretty easy".
Zimmer is straight savage, son.

It will be interesting to see the corresponding move once Bailey is signed officially. Someone else is losing a job too.

Maybe Rick will try and sign Carlson to the practice squad.
Glad we was able to get Bailey.

Carlson needs to find a good sports psychiatrist to help him get his confidence back or his two-game NFL career is already over.

Looks like Josh Gordon to the Patriots. I'm fine with this since he's not going to be in the NFC.

Apparently Bailey had offers from 4 different teams. Lots of people having problems with kicker it seems.

Rarely is ever has a kicker been trending on Twitter without even attempting a kick. But with so many kickers missing kicks on Sunday and with former Cowboys kicker Dan Bailey available, his name has been near the top of the stack for the last few hours.
So what’s next for Bailey? Per a source with knowledge of the situation, Bailey is waiting for the “right team.” He has, per the source, turned down four “very good offers,” and more calls have been made to his agent based on Sunday’s outcomes.

Re: The Kicker...AGAIN! *Update* Vikings Just signed Bailey
Good article on Daily Norseman that settled my lingering doubts about why he was cut by the Cowboys:
https://www.dailynorseman.com/2018/9/17 ... was-let-goBut back to the “fit our cap, fit our team better.” Bailey’s contract was $22.5 million and that would give him $3.4 million for the next three seasons. And let’s be honest, Jones isn’t trying to pay Bailey that much especially when he is only paying Maher $480,000 for this season.
Bailey’s accuracy is not the issue. His last season with the Cowboys he was “75% of his attempts and went 26/28 on extra points.” and prior to that he has had 88% accuracy for field goals and 99% accuracy on extra points.

And on the bright side of his "lowly" 75% from last year was that I believe he had a lingering issue.

Guys...what happens if/when Bailey misses a kick?

Lol.

What game? I don't see a win or loss in our record. We must play tonight.Rhodes Closed wrote: ↑Mon Sep 17, 2018 2:15 pm Zimmer went straight for the jugular with concerns to Carlson.
