Just a heads up to everyone out of market for this game and who has DirecTV:

I just got an email from DirecTV saying that out of market games would be free and viewable on 9/9, this Sunday, one day only. They're trying to set the hook for the NFL Sunday Ticket, I suppose.

I just found out I have a wedding I need to attend this Sunday and will probably miss the end of the game.

Does the priest still ask, "does anyone have a reason these two shouldn't be married?"

How close are you to the bride and groom?

Hopefully, the game will be decided by the 3rd qtr.

Sit in the back and stream the game?

I remember being at a friend's wedding in Chicago during a pennant race. The Cubs could clinch their division that day, and it was a home day game on a Saturday. I swear, there were more people watching their smartphones than paying attention to the wedding. It was funny.

If you do have an answer for that question, just make sure you record it and put it on Youtube so we can all see it before it goes viral...

I live in Missouri and was listening to local ESPN Radio and was kind of surprised when I talked about their predictions for the season. They were very high on Atlanta and thought they would win the Super Bowl. On the Vikings they said they couldn't see Kirk Cousins winning a Superbowl and they didn't think the pass rush was that great. I could definitely see Kirk Cousins winning a Superbowl if Nick Foles could win a Superbowl. Also I would rate our pass rush above-average with the chance to be great if Hunter progresses as I think he should.

The Vikings do need to get to the quarterback more in terms of sacks and/or create more turnovers. I would say those are two areas that would take them to the next level. For a great defense, they were only middle of the pack in sacks and towards the bottom of the league in takeaways.

Wow that's a shocker, I thought for sure the 49ers would be on TV. I'm assuming this is because of Mariota.

Well, looks like the wedding can go on uninterrupted...

What I love is that after we beat the Niners and go on to win the Super Bowl we can look forward to:
Raising our banner and hosting the kickoff game without the possibility of a weather delay!

Sucks that Rhodes hammy is giving him but if he was a full participant on Friday you would think he would be good to go.

Just not a good sign. I'm expecting it to be a problem all season. Vikings may have to rely on Hill and Hughes sooner than later.

Why do you think it will be an issue all season? Does he have a history of hamstring problems lingering? Is that what wad bothering him in the playoffs? My memory sucks when it comes to tight hamstrings

Well they are practically twins.
