Name me 1 QB the had a good year with Jeff Fisher and the Rams.
Actually so did Steve McNair.

Depends on your definition of "good."

McNair never threw for more than 3,300 yards under Fisher. His career YPG was less than 200 with a career completion percentage of barely 60 and YPA of under 7.

If anything, Jeff Fisher held Steve McNair back.

Meanwhile, Keenum completed 60% of his passes under Fisher with a sub-80 passer rating, 6.1 YPA, and almost as many interceptions as touchdowns.

Jeff Fisher's teams were where quarterbacks went to die a slow, agonizing death. The man had 6 winning seasons out of 22, and four of those were with McNair at quarterback. He's the most overrated coach in the history of the NFL. Jared Goff should thank his lucky stars he only had to endure one season under Fisher.

Underestimate this man.

Keenums rookie year.
2013 Keenum played 8 games because they benched Matt Schaub
Houston lost RB Arian Foster for the season.

2014 played 2 games when Ryan Fitzpatrick got injured....Houston

2015 played 6 games for Rams 87.7 rating replaced Nick Foles....Rams

2016 played 10 games replace Geoff....Rams was Keenums worst year.

I’m looking forward to next season for many reasons, but one of the them is to cheer for all of our former QBs and see how their seasons pan out. I am extremely happy with the Cousins signing, but I also like all three of our former QBs. It will be fun to see what they do and I wish them the best with their new teams (unless they’re playing the Vikes)

Case will always have my respect and appreciate for handling the battle of attrition we went through this year. His professionalism was outstanding. At the end of the day, I wish Case all the best.

I fear though Case has not landed in the best situation. He has good skill position players in Denver, but the offensive line there is worse off than the one in Minnesota. Hard to predict how the situation pans out for Case in Denver.

It's truly shocking how some die-hard fans forget what some players do for them, especially if the last game of the season doesn't end in a win. That only happens to "1" team.

I wonder if those who badmouth Case also badmouthed Cunningham and Tarkenton? They never finished a Vike's season with a win.

I hope the best for Cousins. As a fan since the early 70s, the "curse" has haunted me.

I also hope the best for Zimm and the rest of the coaching staff. With luck, they will remember how to get the Defense to play in the big games that count.

Case K., blessings and good luck. I hope you do well, except when you are facing a row of "horns" all dressed in purple.

Go Vikes!

Case would probably be back if not for the very rare circumstance we saw this year where a team lets a franchise QB hit free agency.

He's solidified in Viking history. The "Minneapolis Miracle", leading the Skol Chant, and just overall the way he carried himself. But it's a business and in the end, I think both sides came away winners.

I mentioned this somewhere but the cool thing is both he and Teddy are in the AFC, which makes it even easier to cheer for them. I'm not one to have multiple teams I cheer for but often times I'll watch a game on tv I'm pretty agnostic about. This gives more incentive to watch those games with a little more interest.

Does Denver play the Pats this year? Steelers?

When we signed him, I thought... "oh, great... a has-been, never will be". I was wrong. Case is a legit QB and a great human being.
Wishing Case a successful run in Denver. He came here humble and stayed humble and did his job really well. He took us to the brink of a Super Bowl, and he deserves our respect.

I actually wish Teddy and Case a lot of success
going forward.

Cousins has thrown the ball for 12 thousand yards
in a few years and is a little bit of a gunslinger QB
imo.

Case had a great year and played ten times what
his contract was for us last year.

I think Bradford would have the most natural
talent out of the last two years group of Viking
QB’s.

Let’s hope Cousins can help our offense grow
even more. We have a good selection of weapons
already.
