This is good news for everyone wanting Kirk Cousins as QB.

We have like five threads dedicated to QB already.

I'd be ok with with Cousins, if he would agree to a reasonable salary, not willing to load up on him and not be able to re sign players already on roster.

Paul Allen received a text message from what he called an "incredibly well respected opinion" with some VERY interesting information around Kirk's preference for a landing spot.

The mystery text message read as follows:

"Listening to you, I'm told Cousins has been telling people this week the Vikings are #1 with a bullet on his preference list. If offers are similar he's taking the Vikings."
How similar?

Has cousins ever won, or even played in, a playoff game?

Kirk Cousins has won the same number of playoff games as Teddy Bridgewater.

He's played in one more playoff game than Sam Bradford.

(Hint: Cousins' playoff record is 0-1.)

I would sign him. He would provide stability and is an above average Qb. This team has a roster to win now and needs to go all in imo. Other than Cousins I'd just focus on the trenches and they're good to make a run for all the marbles.

Offseason Goal: Draft durable, tough, intelligent offensive lineman who are dependable technicians and avoid penalties aka drive killers.

They need to go after him big time. If we lose a defensive player or two, then so be it. Zimmer will manage the defense, but long term this makes the most sense and that is what they need to be thinking. We were the supposed number one defense and yet gave up 38 unanswered points to a back up. This is a chance to get a franchise QB and they need to go after it.
