I have grown up cheering for both the niners, and the vikes, although the vikes i cheer over the niners head to head.
Anyway i remember when garcia played for the niners and everyone underrated him. San fran let him go, they went from ten and six to about 8 two win seasons in a row.
They play very similiar. Neither have a rocket arm, and both have tendencies to throw some ducks. But they have winning intagibles, they make plays happen when there isnt much there.
I think garcia was on 3 or 4 pro bowl teams, had a miracle come back against the giants in the playoffs.

Good comparison. He's a gamer but I'm hoping he learned from that pick that let the saints back in it.

Funny, every time I see him I can't help but think of Falco in "The Replacements".
Vikings fan since Nov. 6, 1966. Annoying Packer fans since Nov. 7, 1966

I'm going out on a limb. To me he just a small time Bret favre wannabe. He not as accurate as favre but I see his play as similar as his collage season his coach want him to play like favre. [url]http://www.houstonpress.com/news/case-k ... 743638/url] I don't see him as accurate and have strong arm like favre I do see that he is not afraid to throw the ball to anyone. He will throw the ball up for grab. One play he make a great throw that will wow you then another that makes you go what where you thinking.
To me me I would rather have a QB that not afraid to throw the ball then a QB who rather play it safe
Favre and keenum both are not scared to throw the ball up for grabs. Both did very well against the blitze. Both can scramble enough to get the job done.

So now, to complete the carousel the Eagles lose to the Vikings who go on to beat Brady and the Pats, effectively ending Brady's career. The Eagles jettison Nick Foles and the Vikings fail to sign Keenum, Bradford or Bridgewater. Bridgewater heads to the Eagles to back up Wentz. Bradford leaves with Shurmer to QB in NY. And Case Keenum gets signed by the Patriots. Nick Foles then signs with the Vikings for 1 year, $2mil.dead_poet wrote:Might as well post this here. There will be a quiz.
