I'm absolutely with you, brother.Boon wrote:People are saying ignore it. But i cant seem to shake how the media is treating this. Its almost like the vikings are villains now and poor drew brees. Its mind boggling. I really wish they would have made that 4th down stop but lets be real here. How many wideouts would have caught that and immediately ran out of bounds? Diggs made a phenomenal play and all they can talk about is how the rookie messed up and how brees was robbed. Its kinda pissing me off
I assume you were listening to Colin Cowturd today. That's what he was going on about -- how the great Drew Brees was robbed by his own team. Nothing about how the Vikings made a great play. Or destroyed the Saints for the majority of the first three quarters. Or how Case Keenum led them on not one, but TWO drives to take the lead in the last 3 minutes. Then there was First Take on ESPN, where they actually had a segment entitled "Were the Vikings Just Lucky?"
All I want now is for the Vikings to take this all the way. I want the stupid Patriots in the Super Bowl. I want our guys to knock Tom Brady on his a$$ repeatedly and watch him whine and cry to the referees. I want every person in the media who has doubted this team to have to eat their words. I want to see Bill Belichick giving his stupid non-answers as to why they lost.
Bring it home!
Go ahead. I dare you.

Tom Beito@tommylawyermpls
Replying to @DailyNorseman @nacholeber
It happened. I was in the 10th row right behind him. He turned around, looked at us, and did a mocking Skol Chant with 0:25 left after the field goal. Then he got what he deserved.
Don't forget the choking gesture toward ATL.
He's a ####.

Ya holy ####!! I forgot you went with your brother!Texas Vike wrote:I was at the game. I can’t even express how amazing the atmosphere was in there. After the game strangers were hugging and high fives were flying it was such collective euphoria. Later, at Mannys steakhouse folks broke out in the SKOL chant twice. The city was electric. Even this morning at MSP folks in Vikings gear are reliving it all together. I feel so fortunate to have been there.

Maybe next time use that opportunity to coach your safeties on how to tackle instead of mocking fans? Hate the Saints.

According to the Daily Norseman (haven't check NFL.com), that play was made by Harris and Robison. What is the common factor for those two? Neither would have been in the game in a normal 3rd and 1 circumstance. Harris was only in because of the injury to Sendejo. Robison would have been on the sidelines as a DT in a run situation, but had to play because of the injury to Stephen. The game would have been lost without the quality depth that we've seen from the Vikings all year - players who could make a play when the starter was out and the game was on the line.tzinc wrote:Defence came up HUGE when they had to!!!! Saints had a 3rd down and 1 and ran the ball and got stuffed if they make that first down they run out clock
Zimmer made smart use of timeouts to save time!!!
