For any of you using the main "AcidTechPurple" theme you will notice changes made to it. Personally, I never used the theme because it was hard to look at but most people seemed to like it. However, as it is the main theme people use I wanted to see if I could make it more friendly on the eyes. I think I've made some good improvements for readability on this main theme.

Let me know if you have any suggestions.

I'm personally not a big fan of it...the font difference between webpages makes it really uncomfortable for me (I prefer smaller text) but I also know that people have long complained about the readability of AcidTech so I don't have a strong opinion on it.

The font difference between web pages as in any other page on the internet or differences within the site? Which text do you find to be too large just everything in general or particular areas?

I have activated "VikeTheme" which mimics the old format. Please let me know if you have an issue switching to it.

As soon as I came to the site, I noticed a font change site wide. It's a little larger (2pt?) and at first I thought it was different font than it used to be, but after switching to Viketheme I can see that it's not.

Viketheme is how I remember it, sans Thielen and the new Vikings logo new post indicator (really cool touch!), so thank you for doing that for me.

I hope you don't take my responses as complaints! I appreciate all the work you do, just giving feedback.

I like it. Easy to read for us older guys.

Yeah, the new theme has a lighter shade of purple that I thought was easier to read against the black. The text was also really tiny at 100% zoom. I think it's a good idea to have the old option available anyway.

I didn't take it as a complaint, I asked for input!

Any chance you could make me an avatar of Adam Theilen with his yellow gloves on and the ball in his hands? Pretty please. I just cant get any I find to fit.

Just saw the V / horns icon on the far right, for the unread posts.

Is that new, new .... because I did not notice it before among the changes.

But help me out: what is the difference between the icon with and without the white orb behind it?

I'm glad you like it! I've been adding changes here and there the last couple weeks or so. The unread post stuff is new as of maybe an hour or so ago. The white orb in the background shows that it's unread and that you have posted within the thread. The white orb is a little big though, I need to fix that.

So, no orb means unread, but I have not posted in that thread, correct?
