He gives up too many catches. No he doesn't get beat deep often (twice at Pittsburg) but he bad on slants. He simply doesn't attack out of the WR break as he should, he is constantly a step late, which leads to a tackle instead of a break-up.Rhodes Closed wrote:ftr the reference I used, which was NFL.com, listed his last one as last year. Also, not everybody can be a shutdown corner. Trae Waynes is not a shutdown corner, however, he has hardly burned us on plays. He tackles well and does his job, which is shadow the receiver and keep him from scoring.
