I don't understand the call on Treadwell. The guy he blocked had an angle. How was that behind the play?

Unbelievable - oh, they only need a few more yards to get in field goal range. Except that it's 4th down! And I thought he was little smarter than that.Boon wrote:Aikman is drunk

Agree. It was 4th down Aikman. Why would the Vikings want time on the clock?Boon wrote:Aikman is drunk

Zimmer needs to calm his team down and get back to playing strong, disciplined football.

Re: Packer @ Vikings Game Day Discussion Thread -- Week 6
Treadwell was coming back toward the play, that is what they call a crack back block, plus he hit him high in the shoulder/helmet area and you can't do that either. So it was a correct call. If he would have just stood there and walled him off, then it would have been ok.PurpleMustReign wrote:I don't understand the call on Treadwell. The guy he blocked had an angle. I don't like them calling that a blindside block. He hit him in the chest. Just because his head isn't turned shouldn't mean it's blindside. That part is on the defender.Purple Reign wrote: Treadwell was coming back toward the play, that is what they call a crack back block, plus he hit him high in the shoulder/helmet area and you can't do that either. Whether you like or not doesn't matter, it's in the rules.yezzir wrote: I don't like them calling that a blindside block. He hit him in the chest. Just because his head isn't turned shouldn't mean it's blindside. That part is on the defender.

Why did we call a timeout?

What an incredibly dumb timeout and apparently the packers coaches are even dumber
