Every time I hear that 3rd down horn, I start looking for those War of the Worlds giant walkers.

Well, my Anthony Barr jersey looks like it will be 4-0 this season.

@MikePereira
That hit on Rodgers was legal. He was out of the pocket on the run.

Wow, man. There was absolutely nothing, repeat nothing illegal about that hit. Nothing. Mike Perierra said it ... he was outside the pocket and no longer under the 2-step rule (and it wasn't even two steps). Troy Aikman, pretty much a Rodgers sycophant, changed his tune and said it was fine. Barr didn't drive him into the ground. He actually DIDN'T land on him with his full weight, but even if he had, it's not against the rules or even dirty.Purple Reign wrote:Sounds like you were trying to justify the hit on Rodgers wasn't borderline just because he didn't use his full weight. Ask Rodgers if he thinks the hit was ok. Just because it didn't get a flag doesn't mean the league thinks it was okt. Let's wait and see if Barr gets fined for the hit or not. I'm not saying he did it deliberately, but I think he didn't have to drive him to the ground like he did either since he knew Rodgers had already thrown the ball.
Yet here you are, complaining on behalf of the OPPONENT.

It's now 45-31 with more than 7 minutes left.
Come on, Saints. You can't lose a game you were winning by 35.

Agreed. That didn't look like a drive at all. It was a clean hit.J. Kapp 11 wrote: Wow, man. There was absolutely nothing, repeat nothing illegal about that hit. Nothing. Man huge win. The NFC is wide open. Hate to see Rodgers or anyone go down but we're no stranger to having to play through that.

And I'm not saying it should have been a penalty, just that it was unnecessary. But like I said, that pretty much ends my fantasy season since I have both Rodgers and Nelson so I am a little biased.me4get wrote:People whing about the hit on Rodgers need to remember the rules that protect the QB in the pocket, don't apply outside on a rollout.
