This.

Just sharing perspective from an NFL quarterback on the issue. Felt relevant.

Shaking off rust from being a backup is way different than shaking off rust from an injury that kept you out of football for 1.5 years.

Oh, OK. Sure, what does an NFL quarterback know. I'm sure he had no idea the context and couldn't comment adequately.

Link to the interview then. Was it about Teddy?

I am honestly starting to wonder what it would take for that Keenum wagon to come to halt

If he goes 10/22 84 yds 0TD 0INT and we win 14-13 will that be enough to "win" and leave him in?

Its why I hate the "if they are winning" argument. his play has zero impact on how our defense does. Basically none on the running game (Idc about his audibles, if you don't think Bradford or Bridgewater are smart enough to us audibles you are deep down the keenum rabbit hole) or special teams. In the passing game he has been middling to straight up terrible. He LOST us the Steelers games and the Lions game "team effort" aside, you think if a healthy Bradford or potentially a Teddy in those games we possibly win. Keenum LOST those games for us MORE than he won against the Packers or Browns etc.

He is windmilling a tightrope with no net and everyone is saying "look at that form! Promised land ho!"

I just don't want them to mess with chemistry if they don't have to, especially with Teddy. Keenum isn't doing that bad. He isn't Tom Brady but he isn't Spergeon Wynn either.

The bottom line is Teddy and Sammy wasn't available. It was either Case or Sloter.
For you to say Teddy would have won them games is just your opinion.
Practice returns this week and the coaches have some decisions to make. Whatever they decide we should be rooting for the starter.
Also wondering who gets cut when Teddy moves to the roster.
Wondering if TE Bell gets cut.

I didn't say they would have. Couldn't have done worse than the hot #### show Keenum put on though. Thats my point. Keenum is playing like a great back up. Who is just a back up.

I really couldn't care less who they cut. Its not like its going to be someone important.

"Harrison smith sent to practice squad to make room for Teddy" XD

My guess is Bradford is the one in the that seat though.

Has an NFL team ever gone 5-1 and then changed their starting QB?

Not sure about this, but they might change a back up that has been starting for a QB they believe has more starter ability.

Bell can't be cut, according to S197 before. I can't remember the rule but he was claimed some way which prevents it.

Teddy brought on, and Sam to IR. Seems most logical to me.

I think he can be cut. The question previously asked was if he would be put on the 53-man roster or practice squad and I mentioned that when you pick someone up, they have to be put on the 53-man roster.
