I agree with Nunin, had Teddy (the golden child for some reason who never produced) gotten us in the end zone that field goal would have been irrelevant. What would have Bradford's numbers had been last year if he had a 1,500 yard rushing season from Peterson? Case closed.

No those weren't. They were aberrations! not even Brady or Rodgers play that way consistently if you go by QBR. Once Bradford or Keenum do that 3 or 4 times in a row we can talk. The absurdity goes both ways here. Suddenly a Injury ridden inconsistent slightly above average QB in Bradford is going to be our GOAT because he lit it up in *one* game? Or A QB who has started more games than TB and not produced wins has a career game against a team that he always has career games in, after sucking complete and total #### in the game a week before and now HES in front of Bridgewater? The excuse making, imo is coming far more heavily from the Bradford Keenum Camp than anyone else, they are FAR more known commodities than TB.

People need to remember that LAST year was the weird year for Bradford, this year, being on pace to miss 66% of the games, is far more like him.

I say that as a Bradford fan.

I'm kind of in the Bradford camp, although I'm honestly in the camp of any Vikings quarterback who plays competently and helps the team win. So I'll ask: WHAT excuse making?

There really shouldn't be any question about Sam Bradford's toughness. He played last year under tremendous duress and often in pain. He almost never had time to throw, and he took more shots than a frat boy on a weekend bender. Yet he played the entire season, save for Week 1, and only came out for a couple of plays when he took a particularly vicious hit. Despite everything, Bradford not only had his best season as a pro, he also had a better season than any Vikings quarterback since Favre. That's just a fact.

So I guess I don't get the "excuse making" comment.

All that being said, I'm seriously disappointed that Bradford has missed the past two games. No excuses. I'm disappointed. However, it must be a legitimate injury, or he'd be out there. He proved that last year.

Again, I'm a fan of any Vikings quarterback who can play competently and win. I don't care if it's Sam Bradford, Teddy Bridgewater, Case Keenum, Kyle Sloter or Jeff George (cuz, well, you know he can still play). And you know, we've had pretty good quarterback play for the past 18 games now -- 26 touchdowns and just 5 picks during that time. We really should not be complaining about QB play.

Who is questioning his toughness? He is tough, he is also extremely injury prone and last year, him playing every game he started, is very unique for bradford. He is delicate by QB standards.

Everyone should count our blessings. Bradford, Keenum, and TB are Vikings. Hard to beat those three as a pkg. So far. It will take it's own course and time. As long as Keenum is playing well, let's ride the live arm. Worry about tomorrow, tomorrow.

Well, I thought you did ... you talked about "excuse making" coming from the Bradford camp. My bad, I guess. However, you still haven't answered MY question ... what excuse making? Bradford is injured. He's out until he's not, so I'm a little confused. I haven't seen the excuses, but I haven't read every word of every thread.

Coach Zimmer says that Sam Bradford will miss #DETvsMIN. @casekeenum7 will get his 3rd straight start.

I have a sneaking feeling we will be seeing a lot more Keenum in the coming weeks, maybe several. My gut tells me something bad is wrong with Bradfords knee. They just don,t want to say it

But he's gotten how many opinions now and nothing serious has came out. If it was serious, we would've heard it by now.

Bone bruises take 1-2 months to heal. It's not like he *should* be back by now with the injury that was reported. It wouldn't be shocking for him to be out until week 8 or later with just what's been reported.

This isn't the case with Bradford but Romo brought up something last night about reporting injuries. Montgomery broke a few ribs in the game and Tony commented that the reason teams don't like to disclose certain injuries is to protect the player. If Montgomery is able to play next week, the defense will certainly target his ribs. I've heard Zimmer repeatedly say he's trying to protect his players when asked about players injuries.

On a side note, I really like Romo as a commentator. He brings a side of football that has never been introduced to the broadcast. Wonder if he would consider playing again?

He isn't as annoying as I thought he would be. He seems to be able to effectively analyze the game which is not easy to do on the fly, especially for someone who has never done it before.

Honestly I don’t know if Bradford or Teddy are a good

I'm commenting on this because I'm too depressed to discuss the injury situation.

Romo is the best commentator to come along in at least 10 years. He knows more of the modern game than just about all the other guys put together. Hopefully it'll be a trend and the broadcasters will recognize that the old guys are all past due and they'll bring in more young guys that know the current state of the game.

Daryl Johnston is good. I like Chris Collins worth too.
