If the defense plays like it has in the preseason games during the season we'll be lucky to win 5 games. Can't stop the run or the pass now. It's remarkable how far they've gone downhill since game 5 of last season. Very average now .

WHy not address my point. He never.... never.... ever... steps up into the pocket. He sits after he takes his 5 step drop. Look at any good QB and they step back and then step up to buy more time. He never does it and he gets sacked MORE because of it.

Not saying that out Oline is good or even average but Sam is a QB that doesn't do them any favors. He is incapable of buying time himself. If you have bad OT (which we do), you can't take a 6 step drop and stay there. That is where the DEs are aiming for. Step up and they run past you.

Yes... Our problem are our OT. LG isn't great but there is typically time up front. We usually lose and lose big on the edge.
