After two preseason games (poll)
After two preseason games are you feeling more optimistic or less optimistic about the season than you were when training camp started?

About the same. IMO you can't judge really anything based off of the first 2 pre season games. There is zero game planning, playcalling is vanilla, starters barely play, if you have a stubbed toe you dont play. The third game is a little more telling, but still playcalling is vanilla.
10-6 or 11-5 is my prediction.

Less optimistic but not greatly. Mainly because Reiff & Treadwell have yet to take the field and I'm quite worried Tom Johnson is going to start at the 3-tech. Other stuff like Alexander not looking all that great, I'm hoping has some to do with the vanilla play calling. Really hoping...

Chose the comedy option
But in all fairness I'd say it's about the same.
I do not put a whole lot of stock on the preseason performance. Limited participation from the starters, limited playbook.
To me, preseason is more about letting the "unknown" players exhibit their talents and show the coaches that they deserve a spot on the team, rather than gauging "how good" the team will be in regular season.

Preseason. We're talking about preseason!
Still a below average offensive coaching staff, above average defensive coaching staff.
So an average team.

About the same. I thought the offensive line looked better in week 2 but the run defense is concerning.

What about offense? It takes more than just a defense to make a good team...autobon7 wrote: We have a top tier defense.....just sayin

I voted about the same. They will be lucky to win 8 games. Unless they can get some Oline production. I can already hear fans around game 6 calling for Teddy to play, and as much as I like Teddy, that wont be a solution.
