Players at the Top of the Webpage? (Offense)

Post by Cliff » Fri Jun 09, 2017 6:28 am

It's the off season and I've had a little bit of free time so as some of you may have noticed I have changed the graphics for the main theme (The black and purple layout that the majority of you use and everyone sees before they login). I've never done graphic stuff before so don't be too hard on me in regards to how they look!

I wanted to put two offensive players and two defensive players and I chose (pretty randomly, actually) Everson Griffen, Xavior Rhodes, Sam Bradford, and Stefon Diggs. Who do you guys want to see? Would you change anything? I'm going to list the starters (and anyone aside from that who seems obvious). The board only allows for 10 poll options so I'm going to split this into two topics one for offense and one for defense.

Looks really good and you don't have to change a thing to be honest!
But since you wanted opinions, I voted Thielen and Diggs.

Thanks! I really just wanted to do something on the board during the off season lull lol

I really like Diggs and my nephew does a really cute Diggs celebration.

I also want to see Treadwell be a producer. I want to see it even more than Dalvin Cook.

Maybe I need to have my coffee but what exactly is the question? Who do I want to see, make the biggest leap? Become a solid starter? Hoist the Lombardy trophy? :v):

I agree, I like what you have now, especially the picture of Everson in full bicep flex. That's just such a great pose. I want Rhodes and Harry involved too, but I feel like there's likely a better look for Xavier than the current one.

Really cool that it's been updated, it was time!

I hate to say this, but I'm guessing Cook will be better in his rookie season at what he does, which is everything a RB should do, then Treadwell will ever be at anything he should be. once again, I am afraid a WR is going to be a flop for the Vikings. Rick was very luckily to have gotten Diggs. Either that, or hes an idiot for not drafting Diggs earlier.

I feel the same way. As much as I question Zimmer's methods with WRs, him almost never playing really worries me.

I voted for Treadwell and Murray because those should be primary scoring threats
in the end zone this season. In truth I want to see all of our offense score this year.
The more threats we have, the more effective they should be overall. The only
real thing that matters to me is a superbowl ring, imo one or two players sucess
means little if we can't score enough to win games. I would like us to average
over twenty points a game this season. with our defense and special teams, that
be more than enough.

I feel the same way. I really like the player choices and the way it looks right now.

So happy to see both Griffen and Rhodes included!

I think it looks good.
Other option could have been Teddy & Floyd on crutches with Zimmer in the middle with a eyepatch. :pirate:

I love Diggs don't get me wrong. I just don't think I want to hang my hat on him as our offense Web banner considering he's never broken 1000 yards.

at this point.....just put Ragnar the Viking up there.....real greatness is just a dream for this team atm....no one has earned the banner yet. Or perhaps retired great Viking......Moss, Carter, etc.

I'd be cool with old school Moss and Carter but I voted Cook and Diggs.

I thought about going old school but I think it's more fun to try to get excited about the current team. Perhaps a mix might be a good idea. I am already considering expanding it to three players on each side just to fit Griffin in.

After I get this implemented perhaps I'll look into adding a "Vikings Great" to each side as well. That would make a fun poll too, I think.
