In a very Vikings manoeuvre we win the coin toss, thus giving the Eagles 14th overall pick....and as it alternates our first pick in the second round drops to 47! :wallbang:

Are you sure it alternates?

Anyone else bummed out about our stadium killing a bunch of birds? Apparently they are conducting a 3 year assessment of the impact to birds but I hope they do something in the meantime since it's clearly already impacting birds.

Good move by us. Provides versatility and is a decent backup

Looks like we "won" (read: "Lost") the coin flip, meaning that we would have had pick #14 and ended up with pick #48 (instead of #46). Classic Vikings outcome. As long as they get their pick in on time I guess it's all good!

Source says RB Matt Asiata plans to test the market in free agency and not a high probability he returns to the #Vikings.

John Ross WR from Washington is the NFL's fastest man. 4.22 40-yard. Looked like he injured himself at the end too.

Vikings Will Meet with Brad Kaaya, QB, Miami Hurricanes
Matt Miller of B/R reports that Miami QB Brad Kaaya has meetings scheduled with the Vikings, Cardinals, Saints, Giants, Lions, Steelers, Cowboys, and Bears.
The only reason I am posting this is because of the QB implications. I take it as a good sign the Vikings want to meet with a rookie QB. It means we might actually be taking the backup QB position seriously for once.

I don't think it means anything about Teddy Bridgewater though.

Brad Kaaya is not that good. Ughhhh
Actually glad that they are doing so. Bradford has a $17 mil salary this year and probably will want at least that going forward in a new contract. With all that money, 10% of the cap, we need quality but cheap backups.... Draft at least 1 rookie. Is Heinecke staying with the team?

#Vikings met with Lawson. Between his 40-time and getting 35 bench press reps, he's helped himself a ton this week.

The #Vikings say Chad Greenway will officially announce his retirement tomorrow. Great career, making a big impact on and off the field.
