The Vikings announced Mike Zimmer will have emergency eye surgery. His status for tomorrow's game is uncertain.
Spielman Part 2: "I have met with the coaches and players and we have a contingency plan in place if Mike is unable to coach against Dallas"

He was always a class act here in Dallas, and sounds like he's still every bit of that. Best of luck and wishes to him.

This season's been tough on Zimmer. This news doesn't surprise me, I'd noticed that his eye wasn't looking too good in his pressers. Here's to hoping he heals fast.

It reminds me of that season when Coach Tice was injured (2005?)
I hope Mike Zimmer's surgery goes well. Eye issues are scary!

I hope it goes well for Zimmer and everything comes out great.
If it doesn't though, how mean would Zimmer look on the sideline with an eyepatch? Maybe he'll get a scar on his opposite cheek or something too.
