Ok, I love Zimmer as a coach but this story has me a little perplexed.

Child's play. I remember when Jackie Sherrill had a bull castrated in front of his team.

That is pretty weird.....and didn't work. I think I would shift gears and look at something a bit more thought provoking and less shock value.

Coach Mike Zimmer kicked off Thursday's press conference by setting the record straight regarding an error made and since corrected by the Minneapolis Star Tribune.
In reporting that Zimmer had distributed fat stuffed-animal cats around Winter Park as a motivational tactic to remind players not to become complacent, the newspaper erroneously reported that Zimmer had the stuffed animal's throats slit and red paint applied to the slash. Someone else did that to one of the stuffed animals after Zimmer had distributed them.

Star Tribune journalism at it's finest! Were they the same ones that said players were throwing up when they saw Bridgewater's injury?
