Cordarrelle Patterson watch WEEK 5

Post by Mothman »

The poll has changed!

Last week, Patterson was targeted 6 times in the passing game and had 5 receptions. He also ran the ball once so he had a total of 6 touches and 7 targets/touches. Consequently, this week, the poll goes to 6+ rather than 4+.

Here's hoping he makes an impact on the game again this week, in another Vikes win.

My hope is that he has turned a corner and proven himself to this coaching staff. It seems like his willingness to be the gunner on the punt team has endeared himself to the coaches. Whatever triggered it, I'm so glad he's part of the offense again. I'm predicting the trend continues and even ramps up.

If Diggs can't play on Sunday, it might be very wise to ramp it up.

I think four even with Diggs, he made a key first down or two versus the Giants...

With Diggs out I would 5-8 targets ...

I think he gets a lot of touches Sunday. I would say 7 looks in the passing game, and 2-3 running plays. That is if Digsy doesn't play. Could we see CP84 in the end zone, on a non return?

Diggs is doubtful, so it'd be logical that he fill in the void.

I voted 5. I think he gets in the end zone this week though.

My thoughts exactly. Time for a Patterson TD whether it's a kick return, long run, or catching a pass.

I think both Patterson and Thielen get the ball thrown their way more with Diggs hurting.

This could be where Treadwell finally makes an impact, or at least his first NFL catch.

Maybe.....but my money is on Wright getting some much needed touches. Back to CP...I voted 6+.....he is going to be all over the field.

I voted 1 because I did last week and look what happened.

With Diggs out, I'm going for the 6+ this week. It would be great to see Patterson step it up today as there should definitely be the opportunity to do so.

Nailed it! At least regarding the TD.

We'll see about # of touches, but it's looking like 4 receptions and one run.

So glad to see him back in the fold. Just when we need him.
