Re: Greenway
He's had interest from a few teams, but #Vikings have said they want him back. Still expect he will be.

Vikings CB Josh Robinson is visiting the Dolphins, per source.

I liked that team too. I also liked the even older Houston Oilers with Dan Pastorini, Earl Campbell, coach Bum Phillips and a tough defense!
You must have a few years on me, Jim. Those names register for me only as legends I've heard of, but never actually seen play/ coach. Not like Ernest Givens, whom I imagined myself to be as I caught 29 yard "BOMBS" from our mega-armed pop warner QB (he won the state title for RUN PUNT and PASS! as a 5th grader!). Oh, the glory days!

We did ok considering we all knew Rick, Zim, etc. were building this team through the draft. If nothing else, its been interesting. I am assuming they pretty much are already focusing on draft day. Now that should really be fun. There are 3 WR's I really like, cant wait to see if Rick can land one.

Still no #2 LT option. Draft priority.
So Bushrod signs with the Dolphins. The tackle will obviously not be making his scheduled visit to Minnesota now

Am I the only one getting anxious about Newman? IMO he's a huge piece to the puzzle next year either as a starter or at a minimum a fantastic backup.
He was great last year and I know he's old but I think he's a key player next year and I hope he is signed ASAP!

His play fell off quite a bit towards the last few weeks of the season but on a cheap deal as a backup I think he could stem the bleeding if something happened to a starter.VikingPaul73 wrote:Am I the only one getting anxious about Newman? the irony of this was that Boone told Miami "unless you up your offer, I'm going to the cold weather"

Givins and I are close in age (I'm a little older) so that will give you an idea of how many years I have behind me. Those Oilers teams he played for were exciting to watch. Moon was a heck of a QB, especially in his prime.

Hopefully he won't have to get as much playing time this seasonmondry wrote: His play fell off quite a bit towards the last few weeks of the season but on a cheap deal as a backup I think he could stem the bleeding if something happened to a starter.
