Re: Giants @ Vikings Game Day Discussion Thread -- Week 16
Does Peterson have to start, so far back? I mean if we could get him just a few yards closer he'd probably be busting loose.

Helps to have a brain dead QB on the other side. Manning has been terrible tonight. 6/15 for 81 yds and 3 INTsJ. Kapp 11 wrote:This is how the Vikings have to win. Great defense, solid running game, take your shots in the passing game.

You don't change what one of the best RBs has been doing all his career. There is a reason he starts back there.VikingFan50 wrote:Does Peterson have to start, so far back? I mean if we could get him just a few yards closer he'd probably be busting loose.

I think AD starting so far back behind the QB is a mistake with this line

And yet the haters will still whine, "But you still haven't beaten anybody!" However, this is a Giants team that's better than their record indicates. Like Al and Cris said, if the games ended at the 2 minute warning, these guys would be 10-4.

I understand fully why it's done, but we don't have the Offensive Line like we used to.PurpleMustReign wrote: You don't change what one of the best RBs has been doing all his career. There is a reason he starts back there.
