Any word on Jennings visiting with any teams?
Re: Vikings release Greg Jennings
He let out some interest in going back to GB, when asked about it .. They seemedAny word on Jennings visiting with any teams?
to be uninterested. I thought the Browns and Panthers might be calling but nothing.
The browns signed Bowe(who hasn't done anything in years???) My guess is some team
will pick him up after the draft with an incentive heavy contract.
I am hoping if the Vikings don't keep Peterson we might grab him back??
I am thinking the current staff wants to move younger and use Jarius Wright as the
main slot guy...

If he signs it will be very interesting to see the numbers paid to him. I doubt that it will even come close to what the Viking's would have paid and a whole lot less than his previous contract.jackal wrote:Looks Carolina had him take a medical screening... It looks an offer is pending

You guys definitly made the right decision on Jennings cap wise no doubt. Still, im quite relieved you wont have GJ, CJ, Rudolph, flash and maybe AP on the field all at once!!

Sheer class, no doubt.
If only he acted with this much grace and composure upon leaving the Packers.
I'd be very interested to see who he ends up signing with, the Panthers seem like they could really use a guy like him.

Re: Vikings release Greg Jennings
Sounds like Jennings is still a FA.
Any chance he comes back to the Vikings at a lower price? I am naive, but I am still hoping for this.
Class act and still a very good possession receiver who'd be a great security blanket for Teddy B.

Was there ever anything reported on what Spielman offered Jennings in the restructure convo?

No thanks. Enough with the overpaid FA WR's we have been signing for the past 10 years.VikingPaul73 wrote:Sounds like Jennings is still a FA.

I'm drawing a blank on our overpaid receiver signings over the last 10 years. Outside of Jennings, Moss, and Berrian, were there any others?

Mainly BB and Jennings. I hate it when we pick up has beens from our division. Moss was never overpaid.720pete wrote:
