I figured I didn't need a username. I just go by John everywhere. When I post as myself, I'm a little less likely to be inflammatory.

I wasn't very inventive with my 'handle'. My name is Cliff. It's short for Clifford ... but nobody calls me that.

All of the PPE's, CC, Randy, Johnny Randle, Matt Blair, Scott Studwell, Korey Stringer, Robert Smith and Griffith are just a few of my favs. :smilevike:
The 84 season must have been particularly painful for you, then...

I've been thinking about doing this for a while now and after some conversation in other threads, I felt like it was a good time. Many of us go by our usernames on here but I figured we could be more formally introduced in this thread. I mean we are all one big Vikings family after all, we should at least know each others first name :) Plus it might make it a little easier when addressing specific people on here.

I'm Mike by the way

Michael was the most popular American male baby name from 1954 to 1997 with the exception of 1960 when it was bumped to 2nd place in favor of David.

So we shouldn't be surprised at all the Mikes :)

Tim. I've been around since the usenet days too... I like to play Pick 4 and only missed this year 'cause of all the Peterson drama. (I thought it was cancelled -- but I see it wasn't). Kinda dropped out of the regular conversation after the Championship game fiasco in New Orleans (too much pain) but I lurk every year. Kinda nice to chat again... but I wish this year hadn't been such a downer. I enjoy your takes when you aren't calling each other four letter names... (And I don't mean "Mike").

This reminds me of the Monty Python "Bruce" skit: "Landon? That'll confuse things a bit. Mind if we call you Mike?" (In the skit - for those who don't know - the "new guy" is Michael if you enjoy those kind of ironic twists  )

Dan.

Been a fan of this Team since, 2001. Most hated Teams? Our Division, Saints, Cowboys, Patriots, and Packers again just for emphasis.
