Vikings @ Packers Game Day Discussion Thread -- Week 5
Good morning and Skol!
Thursday night! Should be a lot of fun. Our defense is gonna bear down tonight, I can feel it.
Prediction: Vikings 34, Packers 21

If Teddy doesn't play im predicting a loss. He has the Vikings players fired up with his play. We saw the same thing in 2012 when Ponder didn't play in the wildcard game, the vikings played deflated. If Teddy is a no go I expect a loss.

These are awesome, yezzir. I'd be curious to see one where Teddy is more like Sub-zero from Mortal Kombat where everything he touches turns to ice (rather than fire). But sweet renderings nonetheless.

Well the only people who have predicted a Vikings win are ................Vikings fans. I can't find one talking head, so far, that will go out on the limb to pick the Vikings in this game. That is either good news or not. The other thing is, the Vegas odds have moved. Form 9.5-10.0 to 8.0-9.0 which means people are betting on the Vikings to at least cover the spread. Should be an interesting game.yezzir wrote:Good morning and Skol!

AJ Mansour tweeted less than a half hour ago that he heard Teddy was 50/50 *at best* for tonight...

I am with the "do not risk further injury crowd" and I doubt that the Vikes win tonight either way. Hoping that I am wrong about losing though.Leafman wrote:AJ Mansour tweeted less than a half hour ago that he heard Teddy was 50/50 *at best* for tonight...

@AdamSchefter reporting this morning that signs point to Teddy Bridgewater not playing tonight.

I don't think we win this game, guys. I hope I am wrong.

Why? Because Teddy didn't eat toast at breakfast?dead_poet wrote:

Ankle injury on a short week in potential slippery/bad conditions. Probably looking at it long-term. Pound the ball with Asiata/McKinnon and get the ball into Patterson's hands early and often. I'm not confident if Ponder starts but hopefully it's not a blowout.Raptorman wrote: Why? Because Teddy didn't eat toast at breakfast?

Our defense will win this game.

I'm thinking they should sit Teddy.... We will suffer through another Ponder start. Ugh... Let's hope we don't need MBT, or BLT, or McDLT.

Not good news, but we'll have 10 days after this to get him healthy.dead_poet wrote:

Go ahead. I dare you.
