Root for Packers or Lions?

Post by socalvikes »

With only one NFC North match-up tomorrow on our bye week, who do we root for?!
I really prefer it when there are three non-divisional games the Bears, Lions, and Packers have.. makes it much easier. :v):

Mathematically you'd want the Packers. It'd be a real bitter pill for the Lions to be 4-1 with 3 wins in division, 1 of them
against us. If there is any shot at playoffs through our division you have to root for the Packers.

That being said, Fudge The Packers. I'd never cheer for them.

Browns Bandwagon, baby.

..of course, they've already played so,... I dunno.

...I agree with that, (including Fudge the Packers) and my gut still tells me the Lions will (as usual) collapse...

You'll root for the Packers if they are 8-7 this year and end up playing CHI / DET to help us get in the Playoffs.
I don't care if it's the Pack - I just want to go to the Playoffs.

I know we can go 3-3 with the next games again CAR/NYG !!!!

SKOL. :)

I would never root for Packers!

Lions, they're as cursed as we are. Brothers in arms. No where near as bad...

Here's hoping for a tie!

I cannot even fathom rooting for the Packers. I'm afraid my heart would turn black.

This is easy--Lions. However, some years Packers vs. Bears makes me think twice--and so does the Packers vs. Saints matchup. I can't say that I've never hoped the Packers would win for whatever reason, especially if it helps us, but it is certainly a rarity! Packers. Ugh. :puke:

I like the Lions offense, but I can't stand Suh. Can't stand Rodgers either, though. Let's watch them kill each other!

Either way, we aren't losing today, baby. Bonus! :thumb:

The Packers are dishing up their own giant bowl of suckitued against what looks like a neutered Lions offense. The Packers really aren't very good this year.

I have a feeling that the NFC North this year is going to end up being one of the worst divisions in the NFL.

Ugh. Packers with one long TD play and Mason Crosby(!) hits five field goals.
