OUTDOORS ON GRASS
I want to bring up a sore point for me that I would like others opinions on . For the past ten years and maybe longer it seems like the Vikings are just a different team on grass . I almost have no hope of a win in games on the real stuff and thats sad as a Vikings fan that grew up watching the Vikings dominate in worst possible conditions. I dont know any other team that struggles like us in the outdoors . What can the coaching staff do to get us more competitive in the weather conditions that seem to keep us playing at a lesser level than our talent ?
LETS GO VIKINGS !

In preparation for this game the team opened the doors during practice and the temp was around 30.Purple Jesus wrote:Do we practice outdoors? We should if we don't. If we practice inside, they should turn the AC all the way up and get the bubble freezing and practice inside that when preparing to play the Fudgies in Lambeau in January.

Guess that explains it.

Those are all very tough teams. Sure, playing outdoors may have been a factor, but definitely not as much as people think.Purple Reign wrote: The Packers twice, Chicago, Washington and Seattle.

Except for Chicago, we weren't blown out in those games and all were pretty winnable.
I'm still happy about the Vikings finally getting an outdoor stadium though.

When you're born, you get a ticket to the freak show. When you're born in America, you get a front row seat.

Umm, they're building another indoor stadium. With some possibility that it might have a retractable roof. But they will play for two years outdoors at TCF Bank Stadium in 2014 and 2015 during construction.Orion wrote:I'm still happy about the Vikings finally getting an outdoor stadium though.
