While on the Kansas Viking website specifically in the download section I listened to what was posted as Vikings Fight Song #2 with this caption “I don't know where I came across this one but it is a very cool and old fight song. I suspect it was used back in the days of the old Met Stadium. Older song but it is very cool.” The song intended by the organization to replace “Skol Vikings” was not introduced until the team moved into the Metrodome in the early 80’s. Reaction by the fans was lukewarm at best and Skol Vikings thus returned for good! Fight Song #2 is not completely dead though. If you listen to Vikings games on the radio the background music is #2 without singing and at a much faster rhythm.

Hmm I always just thought it was regular elevator type music lol
