As only a handful of us have stood by Ponder and have understood that it takes a couple of years for some QB's to mature, especially with the horrible wrs Ponder has to throw to and the intense pressure that most often times kill plays, he has never quit working and Will be that franchize player he was drated to be.Spiderbeavis wrote:Didn't think we'd have a bigger win than the Niners...but this puts that one to shame!
Oh, and 16/30 for 174 for Ponder...not elite numbers perhaps, but much better than what he's been giving us, right when we needed it!
Congrats. on an outstanding road win and for a team that was made ready to play by a really up and coming coach (Frazier) great job.

I think he was as inconsistent as usual. he had two balls he threw up for grabs he was lucky weren't picked. He missed a number of open receivers. Had a half dozen of his wildly inaccurate throw aways that weren't. Made a few nice plays, but when all he's asked to do is not screw up, and he deos his best to try and screw up. Despite everything going the Vikes way.soflavike wrote:Demi... what did you think of Ponder's performance today?

That was definitely one of the team's greatest road wins! AC was unstoppable.soflavike wrote:Beating Joe Montana and San Francisco like red-headed step-children at Candlestick in 1987 might be the greatest road win ever by the Vikes. Anthony Carter was amazing that day...
