I'll be amazed if Ponder ever has the same degree of success as Mark Sanchez. Sanchez may not prove to be a good QB, but the Jets main problem is the clown they have at head coach.

same type of success? sanchez statistically is the worst qb over the last 4 years. he has had a wealth of talent around him, some injuries this year, but he couldnt get it done with plaxico, braylon edwards, greene and holmes. along with a solid Oline.

Well, a lot of Vikings fans ripped me when I said Tony Romo would look good in purple, so I'll just refrain from commenting on Sanchez. Except to say that no matter what talent he may have had, he seems like damaged goods.

I'd take a flier on Alex Smith, Phil Rivers, Mike Vick, Kevin Kobb, Matt Moore, Chad Henne, Kirk Cousins, another year of Ponder, insert mid-round draft pick all over Sanchez at this point.

I think theres only one QB equally bad as Pinder that started this year, and thats Sanches. But you have to remember the 2 clowns Frazier had as our starting QBs....anything is possible.

The Jets live and die by the health of Revis. Every time that guy is on IR their entire team falls apart. When he is healthy that defense is down right scary.

At this point it should be obvious that Rex Ryan is not HC material. He is a media darling due to his combustible nature and the fact he coaches in NYC. That is all there is to it, IMO.

Sources tell Newsday's Bob Glauber that Mark Sanchez is likely to be with the Jets in 2013.

Sanchez's guaranteed money is the only thing keeping him in New York. Reports surfaced Wednesday that the team would attempt to trade Sanchez, but no team in its right mind would take on the dollar signs, especially for a likely No. 2 quarterback. The Jets are on the hook for a boat-load of money, so it makes sense to just hang on to the former No. 5 overall pick if they have to cut the check.

Im with you on Romo, but he's had a good last 2 seasons, he's probably untouchable now. And he doesn't fare too well with average WRs, because he will gamble, he needs WRs he can trust to make plays.
